Copyright Information
If you copy images from my website and publish them elsewhere you are stealing. I dislike thieves. My photographs have a value; if you steal them I will invoice you for that value. Copying copyrighted material from this website, or any other, and publishing it anywhere, including elsewhere on the internet* is a crime.
If you've seen a photo here that you'd like to use please don't steal it, drop me a line, I'm very approachable! It could save us both a lot of unnecessary inconvenience, and will almost certainly save you a lot of money.
Legitimately licensing one of my images will probably cost less than you might think (and definitely less than the invoice you'll receive if I find you using an image of mine without my permission).
Unless it is specifically stated otherwise, all photographs and text on this website (and www.paulstevenkelly.com) are protected under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988, the principal legislation covering intellectual property rights in the United Kingdom.
If you steal my photographs, at the very least you can expect an invoice, I reserve the right to charge administration fees and interest on retrospective licensing, and to pursue and prosecute persistent and/or extreme offenders to the maximum extent of the law. My photographs are watermarked, and can be tracked on-line.
Be aware that you may also fall foul of legislation put in place to protect the rights of an author or creator to protect his or her reputation. Including the right to be identified as author, the right not to be falsely identified as author, and the right not to have material altered in a way derogatory to the reputation of the author.
Note, also, that it is an offense, under Statutory Instrument 2003 No. 2498, The Copyright and Related Rights Regulations 2003, to strip an image of it's Metadata.
For the avoidance of doubt, I hereby assert my moral rights as the author of all photographs displayed on this website, along with any associated and/or unassociated text, unless it is specifically stated otherwise. © Paul Kelly 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010.
